Who do you work with?
I work with adults age 18+ who are in Oregon at the time of service. I only work with individuals — I don't offer couples or family therapy.
Do you accept my insurance?
Currently, I only accept cash-pay clients, and can give you a bill that you give your insurer for reimbursement using your out-of-network benefits. Check with your insurance plan to find out what your out-of-network (OON) benefits, copay, deductible and any session limits might be. I work with a service called Thrizer to give you options for managing the reimbursement process if you don't want to handle it yourself. What are your fees?
A 53-minute session is $175, and initial intake sessions are $250. I offer a limited number of reduced fee sessions ($120+) for cash pay, financially challenged clients. Discounts may be available to some clients using out of network insurance benefits.
Are sessions held in person or online?
I currently only offer online, telehealth sessions, but hope to offer limited in-person sessions in the SE Portland area by the end of 2026.
What mental health issues do you treat?
While I can treat a wide range of diagnoses, my specialties include depression, anxiety and other mood disorders, adjustment disorder, prolonged grief, PTSD and trauma, ADHD and Autism Spectrum, and gender dysphoria, to name a few. Do you offer a free initial consultation?
Yes! I offer a no-cost, 15 minute consultation so we can get to know each other and see if we'd be a good fit to work together.
What do you do to protect my privacy?
I take privacy and confidentiality very seriously. Unlike many clinicians, I will never allow AI to summarize notes or access documentation from our work; I've carefully chosen an electronic health records system (Sessions Health) that allows me to opt out of AI; and I am transparent about documentation procedures and what is and is not confidential in our work together. I offer cash pay options for those wanting even more privacy with no insurance involvement whatsoever.
